Chapter 57: Only You, and Only You…

I always believed that if we considered the human body as a sophisticated machine, like a car or a race car, then every organ had a corresponding component, except for the reproductive organs, which seemed out of place. Perhaps this was because a true machine neither needed to excrete waste nor reproduce through mating.

At one point, this extra part of mine also served a third function, education. Although the form of expression was somewhat strange, the act of “showing Zong Yanlei what normal male physiological reactions are” could only be defined as “education.”

Later, after leaving the Zong family, this function was extinguished. For a long time, only the excretory function of this part was constantly lit; the signal light representing “reproduction” would only flash occasionally in extremely rare circumstances.

It usually happened after midnight dreams. If the reaction was mild, I waited quietly for it to subside; if the reaction was strong and couldn’t be calmed down in a short time, I would quickly deal with it. Afterwards, as if recharged, it would remain dormant for a long time.

Later, I returned to Zong Yanlei’s side. The “reproduction” button started lighting up frequently; it had never been so busy in the past six years.

Now, he’s asking me if he’s the first person to do this to me?

Aside from its primary excretory function, the added value of this component was entirely dedicated to him.

“What do you think, Mr. Lit-Up Guest?” I abruptly pushed him against the back of his seat, answering before kissing him.

“What…” He frowned in confusion, clearly not keeping up with my humor.

I didn’t explain further, I just used the tip of my tongue to pry open his lips. He didn’t resist, and cooperatively let me explore his mouth.

It was rare, he finally figured out the fundamental difference between “eating” and “kissing.” I thought with satisfaction, maintaining the teasing intensity of my tongue while quickly unbuckling my belt.

To maintain this respectable appearance, the dress pants were made of a stiff and wrinkle-resistant fabric, which meant they offered little room to spring back when compressed. In short, they were very uncomfortable.

With the crisp sound of the leather buckle loosening, the pent-up power finally broke free of its restraints, and the feeling of returning to one’s primal self made me let out a slightly trembling sigh.

Zong Yanlei’s breathing became slightly heavy. He grabbed my hand and placed it directly on his more elaborate and colder belt, the meaning of which was self-evident.

I groped around in the dark, but his belt was some kind of high-end brand. My fingertips repeatedly probed the cold metal buckle, but I couldn’t find the mechanism to open it.

“Young master, why is this belt so hard to undo? My hands are hurting from trying…”

“Then don’t bother with it.” His voice was hoarse, as if it had been rubbed on sandpaper. After saying that, he pushed my hand away.

The alternative was quickly put into use. Inside the car, the metal rails made a soft, crisp sound. Then, the big machine, seemingly designed for a second function, revealed its imposing presence in the confined space.

Although the cars were designed with the same specifications, significant differences have emerged between the parts produced by different car manufacturers over the years.

Seeing Zong Yanlei’s unique “custom-made parts” for the second time still gave me a cognitive shock.

Is this considered a genetic advantage for the people of Penglai?

Such astonishing specifications were almost like some kind of ruthless modification without regard to cost.

“Bite it.” He lifted the hem of my shirt and brought it to my lips.

I did as instructed, and at the same time, I reached over and, as was my habit, began to examine that exaggerated “custom made part.” The color, material, and hardness were all impeccable.

As I held the fabric in my mouth, Zong Yanlei leaned down. Our mouths locked, his hand moving in sync with mine. However, his hands, like his custom-made parts, were big, with prominent veins, which made my normal-sized parts look tiny.

The rhythms began to overlap, running parallel, intersecting, and colliding, as if two race cars were racing along the same corner, chasing each other, neither giving way to the other.

The system load was pushed to its maximum, alarms flashed deep within my consciousness, and I was gradually moving toward the edge of losing control.

As if he were precisely tuned an exceptionally sensitive sensor, his tongue, coated in hot, moist air, repeatedly ground against the narrow nodule. Gradually, the biting of his teeth was added, and he seemed to begin blurring the line between “eating” and “kissing.”

The interplay of damp cold and dry heat felt like unstable electric currents flowing through my veins and bones. The shock left my mind blank, my heart pounding faster, and… the part I was holding began to tremble.

“Didn’t you say… you’re ‘pretty good’?” Zong Yanlei leaned back a little, his breath brushing against my skin as he spoke, adding an elusive tingle to the underlying ache. “Pretty good… you only know these two moves?” He chuckled, his movements suddenly quickening.

Now he was questioning my professional skills? It was only ten minutes, how much expertise did that require?

Thinking this, my body was overwhelmed by fear, and the movement of my fingertips suddenly froze. I groaned and tried to lean back to avoid his overly scorching attack, but his other hand firmly pressed down on my back, completely blocking my escape route.

“Don’t dodge.” He raised his eyes and locked onto my gaze, decisively pushing my hand away, and took complete control of the delicate maintenance work on those two parts with an unquestionable air of authority.

Just as the heat spreading through my body was about to burn away my reason, I looked over his shoulder and saw the side gate of the Wen family mansion slowly open in the distance, and a slender white figure hurriedly stepped into the moonlight.

I let go of the fabric between my teeth and reminded him, “Miss Wen… is out.”

Zong Yanlei buried his head in my shirt, his voice muffled but revealing an unquestionable conviction: “I told you, she would go with him.”

As dusk closed in and the shadows of the trees deepened, Wen Fu stumbled and fell into Mu Ke’s arms.

The cold wind tore at their thin clothes, yet it could not separate their tightly pressed bodies. When their lips met, their rapid breaths turned into puffs of white mist in the night, like two matches about to burn out, the last wisps of smoke rising from their dying flames. That faint yet intense warmth briefly bloomed in the cold winter night, melting entirely into that fleeting embrace.

“Wait…”

If the lovers in the distance were like a match about to go out, then inside the car was a raging inferno threatening to engulf everything. I grabbed Zong Yanlei’s nape haphazardly through his clothes with one hand, hoping he would temporarily stop this “work,” while using my other hand to stop him.

Unfortunately, he didn’t obey either of my commands, either from above or below. In fact, his hand, which was on my back, slowly slid down and slipped into the loose fabric.

The five fingers gripped it tightly, so firmly that I felt it would leave a brand on my skin.

Unlike our passionate kiss, Mu Ke froze in the distance after the kiss. Wen Fu gently stroked his face, saying something, then resolutely let go. She turned back every few steps to walk back into that tomb-like, secluded mansion.

She ultimately did not go with him.

It seemed that Miss Wenfu was indeed like me, a thorough realist disguised as a sentimental person.

However, at this moment I could no longer care about this ill-fated couple.

The parts gradually overheated, and I lost control. Like an engine expelling heat at its maximum speed, I bent over, groaned, as the pent-up heat suddenly erupted.

A buzzing sound filled my ears, as if all the noise had disappeared.

After a while, my senses returned to normal, and my body gradually cooled down. It was a perfect operation with no residual effects.

Zong Yanlei emerged from under my shirt, kissed my chin, and turned his head to look back. I preemptively cupped his face and kissed him to block his view.

He didn’t suspect anything. Instead, he took my hand, clasped it together, and guided me, teaching me how to better maintain his “custom made parts”.

At that moment, the loosely tied strap of my eye patch came undone due to the shaking and slipped down.

He sensed it, released my lips, and moved upwards, kissing my blind right eye through my eyelid in a sticky, wet kiss.

Had this man been secretly practicing? Why did it feel… different?

“Enough, enough…” I turned my face away and took a deep breath to calm the heat that I had finally managed to bring down.

“So am I or not?” His lips traced a path down my cheek, then reached my ear, where he gently bit my earlobe before pulling away.

He leaned back comfortably in his seat, his gaze lowered as he looked at our clasped hands, then raised them again: “…Look at me as you answer.”

It took me very little time to figure out what he was asking; he was still wondering if he was the only man I was interested in.

I had no choice but to turn my face back, look into his eyes, and answer again, word by word, as he requested: “Yes. Of course.” I placed my other hand on his cheek. “Only you. And it will always be you…”

For a fleeting moment, the emotions in his eyes almost burst forth. It wasn’t simple joy, nor the satisfaction of fulfilled desires, but… fervent ecstasy of being chosen. It was like a lump of lava churning in the cramped car, unable to find an outlet, only able to keep rising in temperature, burning so intensely it was impossible to look directly at.

I tried to look away, but as soon as I moved, he reached out and pulled me into his arms.

My bones ached from the tight the hug. His breathing became disordered and erratic. Before long, his fingers grew warm, the heat seeping through the shirt against my abdomen.

The car was stuffy and had an ambiguous smell.

“Have they left?” He leaned his forehead against my shoulder. His heavy breathing gradually subsided.

In the distance, only the shadows of trees swayed gently in the wind. Mu Ke’s figure had disappeared into the darkness at some point, as if he had never been there.

“Yeah, they are gone,” I said.

‎

We got back to the hotel around 4 a.m. Since we had to take the train back to Baiyujing that morning, we didn’t do anything else. We went back to our rooms, took showers, and lay down to rest.

At least, that was the case at the beginning.

I had just fallen asleep when the bed suddenly sank slightly, jolting me awake from my light sleep. Then I felt an arm wrap around my waist, gently pulling me into a familiar embrace behind me.

“Go to sleep.” Zong Yanlei kissed the back of my neck, adjusted his position, and fell asleep.

…Can’t you sleep by yourself?

The words were on the tip of my tongue, but I felt a damp warmth on the back of my neck, so I didn’t say anything. In the end, I sighed softly and closed my eyes to sleep again.

I hadn’t been asleep long when I was woken up again. This time, it was a cell phone ringing from the other side of the wall.

Zong Yanlei shifted slightly, quickly got up, and went next door to answer the phone, his voice very low. A moment later, the door closed, shutting out all sound.

After an unknown amount of time, he returned to the bedside.

“I have to get back to Baiyujing right away,” he said in a low voice. “You keep sleeping, and text me when you wake up.”

I burrowed deeper into the covers, still drowsy, and mumbled, “What happened?”

“Nothing serious.”

He didn’t elaborate, but simply leaned down and placed a very light kiss on my forehead before getting up and leaving.

It wasn’t until I got up that I realized the “nothing serious” he was referring to was Chu Luo’s secret affair with her bodyguard lover, which had somehow been made public and became a trending topic early in the morning.
