“I’m not going to do anything. So… don’t be afraid, Jaha.”
A hot palm slowly lowered itself as if checking the outline of his torso and gently squeezed the area near his pelvis.
“Ugh….”
As Jaha lowered his head and stumbled, he supported his body with his hands.
Dry lips kissed his wet cheek. When the breath flowing between his lips touched him, the area around him felt cold.
Feeling drowsy, his eyes slowly closed and his face gradually rose, as if he was hoping for a kiss.
After their noses lightly touched and then parted, the man turned his head and bit Jaha’s lips. He kissed him, then pulled away for a moment, leaving behind a tingle on his lips.
In the meantime, Jaha’s vision was completely enveloped in darkness, and soon a hot tongue invaded his mouth.
“Ugh.”
A rough groan burst from the man’s mouth. At the same time, his arms wrapped around Jaha’s bare back and pulled him closer.
The man’s body temperature against his cold body was so hot. Jaha, startled by the scorching heat as if he had been burned, raised his hand and grabbed his forearm.
Their bare skins collided and slipped. Marsilia moaned and roughly swirled his tongue on his mouth.
He folded his arms across his back and hugged his shoulders. As his arms wrapped around his body like vines, the man’s heat felt even stronger against his wet body.
Their chests touched, and soon their lower bodies met. The man, who had wrapped his arms around Jaha as if he would not allow him to lean back, moaned while sucking his tongue absentmindedly.
Something hotter than anywhere else ran across his lower abdomen and touched the area near his pubic area. Jaha twisted his body in fright, but Marsilia slid his fingers behind his back as if to soothe him.
A weak moan escaped Jaha’s mouth as he trembled from the ticklish sensation.
“Uh, uh, that, that’s it…”
As Jaha shivered in surprise as the hard and hot penis touched him, Marsilia pulled away, panting heavily.
He buried his head in Jaha’s shoulder and seemed to be trying to calm his panting breath.
As he bent down, his lower body moved away, but the tip of his pen1s, which was sticking up, was still touching Jaha’s body.
“ah……”
He sighed as if he was going crazy. More than his sighs, Jaha was more concerned about the fact that his thing was touching him.
“Sorry,huh, just….”
Knowing that Marsilia was trying, Jaha waited with bated breath. Every time he couldn’t help but buckle his hips, his body would tremble, but it wasn’t some thing he could control.
Every time Jaha shivered, the man’s breathing became rougher. And little by little, he the distance between them widening.
When he finally let go of the hand that was holding his shoulder, Jaha felt slightly dizzy and fell into the water.
It was Marsilia who pulled up Jaha, who had his eyes closed and his head completely submerged.
“Jaha, are you okay?”
The voice of the man asking urgently reminded his of the same words he had heard before. At that time, when his mind was wandering, he remembered the voice of the man he had heard under the bright moonlight just like now.
Jaha tried to imagine the man’s expression with his eyes closed. His eyes, full of worry, were easily captured in his darkened vision. When he opened his eyes, the water droplets hanging from his face fell onto Jaha’s cheeks.
It was heartbreaking to see it flowing like tears.
Jaha lifted his arm and wrapped it around his back
“It’s not that I don’t like it. It’s that I’m afraid.”
The man paused for a moment and wrapped his arms around Jaha’s back. He rubbed his hot cheek against Jaha’s and answered with a sigh.
“That’s fine.”
When he came to his senses and felt the person’s bare skin, it felt quite strange. It was wet and slippery, and it also had a hot warmth to it.
It felt somehow similar to the tongue he
when kissed him. As Jaha caressed his forearm, a loud sigh was heard.
“You are bad. You keep testing me.”
“Then let it go.”
When Jaha removed his hand, he crouched down and hugged Jaha’s body tighter. He could feel his penis, which had become a little softer than before. It was still big and hot, but it seemed he has gotten used to it, and the trembling had subsided little by little. After a while, the man let Jaha go whispered in a hushed voice.
“Now, we should wash up and go. You will catch a cold if we stay here for so long.
After taking a washing up in an awkward atmosphere, Jaha returned to the tent, holding hands with Marsilia. He glared at the man next to him who was laughing.
“Stop laughing.”
Jaha grumbled inwardly as he glared at the man who was trembling with laughter. He didn’t dislike that smiling face that much, but for some reason, he felt the corners of his eyes turn red.
The only good thing was that it was late so there weren’t many people outside. The knights on guard had their backs turned to the fire so they weren’t lookin g this way.
Jaha, who was looking, quietly whispered to Marsilia.
“what’s the matter?”
He’s been feeling a little irritated by the guy who keeps hitting his shoulder. But why does that feeling disappear when he sees that stupid smiling face? Strangely, every time he looked at that face his irritation disappears and he could only sigh.
…
At that time, Archduke Exion stood before the root of the Sacred Tree in the Imperial Palace. Beside him were a few of his loyal knights and the high priest.
Exion silently extended his hand to the high priest. The elderly high priest hesitated, gripping his long sleeves, and asked, “Your Grace, reconsider. Your actions will surely incur the wrath of the Goddess.” Exion twisted his lips into a grin.
“The wrath of the Goddess? I’m the one who’s angry. Stop provoking me and hand over the holy relic, high priest.”
The high priest sighed, as if to let Exion hear, before quietly retrieving the holy relic from his sleeve and passing it to him. Inside the round glass orb, the power of the Goddess surged. It felt strangely familiar, like a purer form of divine power.
Exion raised an eyebrow, sensing the divine power, which resembled the Emperor’s power. He did not like the fact that his suspicions were coming true.
Upon hearing that Serez had begun investigating the dragon, Exion had not searched the Imperial Library, but instead, he combed through the temple records. As the Honorary Bishop, it was easy for him to gain access, but Exion did not place much trust in history. After all, history books could be easily manipulated by those who wrote them.
The temple had vast reports from priests who had been dispatched to hunt down monsters. While skimming through them, Exion discovered a subtle pattern in the increase of monsters. Contrary to what he had been taught since childhood, most of the historical records about failed monster hunts under the reign of past emperors had not been properly documented.
Exion confirmed that the number of monsters increased every five generations and that most of the hunts ended in failure. He also discovered that the emperor changed every time the hunts failed, while the number of monsters remained consistent from year to year.
Exion sifted through the information in his mind and deduced several possibilities. It took quite some time, but he concluded that the increase in monsters was not a natural occurrence but was influenced by some other force.
As he continued his search, Exion stumbled upon another curious fact. While the Goddess’ prophecies had diminished more than a thousand years ago, there had been small, ongoing revelations until recently. What stood out was the moment these prophecies ceased altogether.
A strange feeling lingered in Exion’s mind. Unlike previous records, the monsters did not follow the usual cycle, and the appearance of the dragon, once thought to be a myth, was undeniable. On top of that, the sudden disappearance of the Goddess’ prophecies left a lingering suspicion that these events were connected in some way.
Exion believed there had to be an inevitable link between these occurrences. He wanted to uncover that connection, so he attempted to make contact with the Goddess.
Priests had always been considered agents of the gods, and it was said that, in ancient times, they received prophecies directly from the gods during rituals. Evidence of these ancient ceremonies still existed in the form of murals surrounding the capital.
Exion tried to make contact with the Goddess by praying at the temple’s main hall, sacred tree, and ancient altars scattered throughout the capital. However, the Goddess did not respond. In the end, Exion decided to use the holy relic to make his final attempt to contact the Goddess.
Convincing the high priest had been difficult, but not impossible. After receiving the holy relic, Exion approached the Sacred Tree’s root. The shallow lake, which reached up to his thighs, was so clear that the bottom could be seen, and the faint divine energy emanated from it.
Holding the holy relic, Exion placed his hand on the Sacred Tree, releasing the divine power.
In an instant, a burst of light erupted from the holy relic. A dark green light pushed away the faint green glow Exion had emitted, as if it was rejecting him.
Exion smiled faintly, pouring all of his remaining divine power into the tree. Once a strong contender for the throne, his divine power, though weaker than the current emperor’s, was by no means weak. After all, he had been considered one of the greatest talents in the Empire.
“Goddess, answer my call.”
Exion muttered in a low tone, almost as if threatening her, when suddenly, the light from the holy relic consumed him.
He found himself in a vast empty space. In that space, he smelled a familiar scent and blinked in confusion.
The moment he never could have imagined had arrived. He stared blankly for a moment before his face twisted in anger.
“You! You!”
Hearing Exion’s furious shout, the other voice sighed, seemingly exhausted.
“Exion, your arrogance has finally pulled me down.”
The voice of the Goddess echoed in his mind, and Exion let out a roar of rage.
Exion opened his eyes and looked around, noticing that nothing had changed in the Sacred Tree or the surroundings. He strode out of the shallow lake, threw the holy relic at the high priest, and ordered his knights.
“Take care of it.”
His anger still boiling in his chest, Exion glared ahead and walked away.
“Y-Your Grace!” The panicked voice of the high priest called out from behind, but Exion ignored him.
He pointed at one of his knights and commanded, “Find the most skilled curse wielder in the capital. As quickly as possible.”
With the Emperor’s knights absent from the palace, Exion saw the perfect opportunity. He was determined not to let it slip by. Returning to his manor in the capital, he commanded his vassals.
“Move all the soldiers left in the fief to the capital. Also, send letters to the nobles, ordering them to send reinforcements. We are going to the Imperial Palace.”
“Y-Your Grace, the council meeting is about to begin. If you attack the Imperial Palace now, you will lose your reputation.”
Exion calmly responded to his aide’s warning.
“Anyone who tries to stop me will lose their head. If you want to die, step forward now.”
Reputation? What does that matter? Exion had already abandoned his desire for the throne. He now sought only revenge. He swore to take revenge on the Goddess who had denied his existence and on the child she loved. He would not rest until he had his vengeance.
