The spoon in Dohee’s hand froze mid-scoop.
– The name has ‘star’ in it. ‘Star.’ Because, um… you sparkle?
What… what kind of line was that?
Even someone like Baek Dohee, who lived his life with a thick skin by default, felt his face heat up at a comment like that. A warm flush crept up from his chest, and he swallowed hard. He didn’t know how to respond. Moonhyuk had said it so simply, so sincerely, exactly as he felt it, so why was all the embarrassment his to bear?
His palms were so hot it felt like the ice cream would melt in an instant. Still speechless, Dohee turned his head toward Moonhyuk.
Moonhyuk was smiling, a smudge of chocolate ice cream at the corner of his mouth. His drooping eyes curved sweetly, irises shimmering. His cheeks were soft like peaches, his lips looked like they’d been painted on. Dohee stared, entranced, and opened his mouth.
“You think I… sparkle?”
“Yeah.”
The answer came without even 0.1 seconds of hesitation. Moonhyuk dug his spoon into his ice cream and continued.
“Your hair, your face, they all sparkle. But when you smile like this…”
He grinned wider.
“You shine even more.”
Dohee silently set his ice cream cup into the holder and turned fully toward Moonhyuk. He reached out with both arms. Thinking it was a request for a hug, Moonhyuk quickly followed suit, placing his cup in the holder and opening his arms. But this time was different.
Dohee’s hands cradled Moonhyuk’s cheeks. He gave a gentle tug, and Moonhyuk leaned in easily. Still not understanding what was happening, Moonhyuk’s wide-eyed face filled his view. Their faces were now close enough to feel each other’s breath. Dohee closed his eyes.
Their lips met, warm and soft. The moment they touched, it felt like every cell in his body jolted awake. Their breaths mingled, sweet with the scent of chocolate. Frozen in place, Moonhyuk’s lips parted slightly in surprise. Dohee’s tongue brushed over them, gliding gently.
“…Ah.”
A breathless gasp slipped from Moonhyuk’s mouth. Dohee’s eyes opened just a sliver. A lingering taste of chocolate clung to his tongue. He rubbed the corner of Moonhyuk’s reddened lip with his thumb, smearing a leftover bit of ice cream. A sharp pull tugged low in his belly.
“Open your mouth, hyung.”
“Ah…”
“So I can kiss you.”
Moonhyuk, trembling pitifully, obediently opened his mouth. Dohee released his cheeks and wrapped his arms around Moonhyuk’s neck. He tilted his head slightly, and their lips lined up perfectly. Hot breaths passed between their parted lips. Moonhyuk’s clumsy tongue brushed his palate.
“Mm…”
The sound escaped before he could hold it back. Moonhyuk shivered. Wet sounds filled the car like static. It felt ten degrees hotter. Their mouths, their bodies, the embrace, the entire car, everything was so hot it was hard to stay grounded. Their teeth bumped a few times in their uncoordinated kiss, mixed with faint laughter.
Dohee had wanted it to be soft and slow, something gentle and natural, but once their lips met and tongues touched, everything went out of control. His whole body ached to be closer. The sweet saliva made him desperate, like he couldn’t help but devour it all.
He briefly pulled back so Moonhyuk could breathe, but the moment he did, Moonhyuk dove back in, clinging to him like he couldn’t bear to part. Even panting, even breathless, he wouldn’t stop. That sweet, eager breath was overwhelming.
It was a clumsy kiss, messy and uncoordinated, but as Dohee closed his eyes, he thought,
There might never be a kiss as sweet as this one.

Giant Wishing Sprout Tree Event!
⦁ Event Period: Mar. 6 (Mon) – Mar. 20 (Mon), until the maintenance
March is the season when sprouts grow fast!
Giant Wishing Sprout Trees have appeared across the Yubriel continent.
Take selfies in front of the trees and join the sky lantern event!
⦁ You can find one Giant Wishing Sprout Tree in each continent.
⦁ Visit all seven to collect adorable Spring Stamps!
⦁ Collect all seven stamps to receive the “Not Yet Grown Flower Pot”.
⦁ Keep the pot in your inventory and water it once a day.
After seven days of care, the flower will bloom. Harvest the flower and exchange it through NPC Mili for various in-game items and currencies.

⦁ Five adventurers who post selfies on the SoGod Selfie Board will be selected to win a cute Demon Hunter figurine.
⦁ At every even hour (00:00, 02:00, 04:00… up to 22:00), a Lantern Release Event will be held in front of each Giant Wishing Sprout Tree. You can get lanterns from NPC Zense at each tree.
After pressing the “Join Lantern Event” button, a Wish Note will be added to your inventory. Write your wish on the note, place it in the lantern, and let it fly. SoGod will be wishing for all your dreams to come true.

Dohee scrolled lazily through the announcement. Since the semester was starting, SoGod seemed to have prepared quite a bit. He’d expected the attendance event, it came around every year this time. But what was this Wishing Sprout Tree stuff? Sounded like a bizarre mashup.
A wish tree was a wish tree, and a sprout was a sprout. Why combine them?
“Wow… the wish tree event sounds fun.”
“Yeah, I guess.”
That thought lasted all of three seconds. If Moonhyuk liked it, that was enough. They’d do the event together anyway. As long as Moonhyuk had fun, Dohee would too. Who cared if it was sprouts or trees or whatever.
The two of them were sitting side-by-side at their computers, reading the update notice together. It wasn’t like they were super hyped about the update itself or desperate to read the notice. No, there was another reason they were waiting eagerly for maintenance to end.
Today was the day they’d finally craft their Level 150 set gear.
Gathering materials for the 150-set had been easier than expected. Raid drops were generous, and they’d bought extras here and there. Strengthening would take time, of course, but the materials were mostly ready.
Including 4Evil, who’d even taken paid time off for the occasion, they planned to jump straight into a Demon Hunter run after the update. Each week, the raid clear times had been getting faster. They were now used to the mechanics and were getting a solid burst phase going.
Drop counts varied per player, so even within the same team, everyone’s progress was different. Dohee, lucky as always, already had all his materials. But Noodle, Daeyeong, Oreckthat, Yeojin, and Moonhyuk still had a few to go. Daeyeong was running public raids, so of course he was slower. But after today’s raid, most of them would probably have everything they needed.
They planned to run the raid as soon as maintenance ended and switch everyone over to the 150-set immediately afterward.
Even the guildmates who weren’t yet level 150, like HealerHyung, RiceCake, and Moonhyuk, were making theirs in advance. They couldn’t equip them just yet, but they’d have a goal to reach. Getting to level cap would feel more real once the gear was already crafted.
