MM 142
Yu-young murmured absentmindedly. He had been to places like this countless times since childhood with his family, but now, after all the ups and downs, he was here alone with Do-won—on their honeymoon. It felt different.
“Let’s go in.”
Do-won, who had been admiring the villa with him, gently placed a hand on his shoulder. After checking in at the lobby, they followed a staff member onto a buggy, a vehicle designed to help guests navigate the vast resort.
When they arrived at their villa, Yu-young let out another amazed gasp.
“Wow… It’s really beauti—”
Excited, he ran inside but abruptly stopped in front of the bedroom, his face flushing. The open bedroom door offered an unfiltered view inside.
A massive king-sized bed was covered in scattered red rose petals, with neatly folded towels shaped like swans nestled in the center. Between them, a sign read, Happy Honeymoon.
“This really has the honeymoon vibe. Worth the trip.”
Do-won, who had followed him in, wrapped an arm lightly around Yu-young’s waist and pressed a kiss to his head. The romantic atmosphere extended beyond just the bedroom. Even the enormous open-air bathtub in the distance was sprinkled with petals, and there was even a towel swan sitting on the toilet lid.
‘Oh god… this is way too much.’
Now that he thought about it, even at check-in, the staff had repeatedly greeted them with cheerful Happy Honeymoon wishes. Just a few hours ago, he had been buried in work at the office, and yet here he was. The sudden shift felt surreal, leaving him flustered and restless.
“Go ahead and wash up. You must be tired.”
“Oh, uh… Would you like to go first, Team Leader?”
“I’m fine. You go ahead. Let me know if you want company.”
“…I’ll just go first.”
His face burning, Yu-young dashed into the bathroom. Warm water gushed out as he carefully turned the faucet.
He wanted to soak in the tub and relax, given how exhausted he was, but… it was their first night. There wasn’t time for that.
…Why am I thinking about this so much?
Embarrassed yet determined, he lathered up thick bubbles and scrubbed himself clean. It wasn’t even their first time together, but something about this being their honeymoon made it feel different. The moment he consciously acknowledged it as their first night, his mind couldn’t let go of the thought.
Stay calm, stay calm…
His heart pounded so hard it felt like it might pop out of his chest. Pushing away the ridiculous thought, Yu-young focused on finishing his shower.
Stepping out, his skin warm from the steam, he wrapped himself in a bathrobe and emerged from the bathroom. Do-won, who had been unpacking, turned and smiled slightly.
“All done?”
“Yes.”
“Then I’ll go wash up. Have some champagne while you wait.”
At some point while Yu-young was in the shower, Do-won had arranged a chilled champagne bucket and an assortment of beautifully plated fruits on the table.
As Do-won disappeared into the bathroom, Yu-young plopped down at the table, lifting the champagne glass Do-won had already poured for him.
“Mm…”
The sweet alcohol slid smoothly down his throat. Relaxing, he gazed at the scenery before him, sipping leisurely.
A few wispy clouds drifted in the vast night sky. In the distance, gentle waves lapped at the shore. Right outside the floor-to-ceiling glass doors, a private pool shimmered under the moonlight.
“The view is amazing…”
Popping a piece of mango into his mouth, Yu-young smiled in satisfaction. All the stress from the past few days seemed to melt away in an instant.
Leaning back, he savored another bite of fruit, consciously pushing away lingering images of work—the endless PowerPoint slides and the chaotic office. The cool air from the air conditioning slowly dried his damp skin.
As he reached for another sip of champagne, the sound of the bathroom door opening caught his attention.
“Does the champagne suit your taste?”
“Yes. It’s exactly my type.”
Do-won approached and naturally rested a hand on Yu-young’s shoulder. The fresh scent of his shower cologne lingered in the air. Slowly, he leaned down and pressed a kiss against Yu-young’s lips.
His tongue traced over the lingering sweetness, and he smiled playfully.
“Good. Mango?”
“Yes. It’s… really sweet.”
It was just a light kiss, yet Yu-young’s eyes grew damp. Seeing that, Do-won’s smile deepened. He reached up and gently brushed a thumb under Yu-young’s eye as he murmured,
“It really is.”
Their lips met again. Even though they were only rubbing against each other slowly, a tingling sensation bloomed in Yu-young’s lower belly. Do-won’s lips carried a cool hint of mint.
As Yu-young’s slightly parted lips relaxed further, Do-won’s tongue slipped in, unhurried and deliberate. The moment their tongues touched, heat rushed to Yu-young’s neck and ears. The slow, teasing friction drove him crazy.
“Mm… ngh…”
A large hand cupped Yu-young’s face, fingers playing with his hair and tracing the curve of his ear. Tilting his head, Do-won deepened the kiss, sealing their lips more firmly together. Yu-young instinctively tilted his own head in the opposite direction, parting his lips wider. Their kiss grew deeper, rougher.
Do-won sucked gently on Yu-young’s soft tongue, gripping his waist as he sat in the chair. Then, suddenly—Yu-young’s body lifted off the ground. Reflexively, he wrapped his legs around Do-won’s waist as he was carried effortlessly. A moment later, he was laid down onto something soft, the plush surface sinking beneath him. Their lips never parted.
“Mm…”
Even with just kissing, Do-won seemed highly aroused. His pheromones, which he had always kept tightly controlled, were now seeping out, filling the room. The air thickened with the unmistakable scent of desire.
Yu-young trembled between his thighs as warmth dampened him. The large hands caressing his body, the tongue exploring his mouth—every touch was overwhelmingly sweet, dizzyingly intense.
“Ah… Team… Team Leader…”
“We’re not at work anymore. You should call me honey.”
“I-I… It’s embarrassing…”
Yu-young knew. They were officially married now, and it was only natural to switch to more affectionate terms. He had even tried calling Do-won that at home a few times when prompted. But spending most of their time together at the office had ingrained the title Team Leader into his speech, making it feel more natural.
Yu-young squirmed, overwhelmed by the growing heat, but the embarrassment kept his gaze lowered. Seeing this, Do-won let out a soft, affectionate chuckle.
“Yu-young. Look.”
His large hands gently cradled Yu-young’s face and turned it toward the window. The breathtaking scenery Yu-young had admired earlier filled his vision—rolling waves glistening under the night sky, clouds painted silver by the moonlight, an exquisite painting beyond the glass.
“We’re on our honeymoon. Can you believe it?”
“…It feels surreal…”
“Just a little while ago, I was only watching you from across the office…”
His words melted into another kiss—deep, sweet, and wet. When Do-won finally pulled away, a thin string of saliva stretched between them before breaking. The sight sent a shiver through Yu-young.
“The truth is, I’ve been wanting to do this all along. Kiss you, touch you… spend hours tangled up in bed together. That’s all I could think about.”
“…Team Leader…”
Do-won’s voice was husky, his control fraying at the edges.
To think that, behind his usual composed and work-focused demeanor, he had been harboring such thoughts… Yu-young had no idea.
“I didn’t say anything because I didn’t want to make things harder for you while you were dealing with everything at work. I held back until things settled. If that made you feel neglected, I’m sorry.”
Do-won smiled as he spoke, and at that moment, the dam Yu-young had been holding up finally burst.
Watching Do-won command the office with his usual cool authority, Yu-young had felt a pang of loneliness. He wondered if he was the only one feeling left out, the only one being childish about wanting more time together.
But now, Do-won was telling him the truth—he hadn’t been alone in those feelings. Do-won had wanted this time just as much as he had.
Now, just as Do-won had said, they were truly starting their honeymoon. A time just for them. The most romantic moment in the world.
Yu-young wrapped his arms around Do-won’s neck, pulling him close until their foreheads touched.
“To be honest… I was upset. I tried to act like I wasn’t, but I really missed you, and I wanted more time with you. But now, being here like this… I’m so happy.”
He nuzzled their foreheads together, then looked into Do-won’s eyes with a soft smile.
“Kiss me, honey.”
