MM 81

Embarrassed, Yu-young smiled and said those words so easily. Suddenly, he remembered the time he had pointed out that Yu-young seemed too careless. He had suggested living together first, and now, if he were blaming Yu-young’s caution, it would be hypocritical. Still, when he heard those words from Yu-young, for some reason, his body stiffened, and he could feel the tension building in his lower abdomen.

“…I’m fine.”

“Please don’t say that, just hurry up. I feel bad being the only one receiving help.”

Normally, he would have refused without a second thought. Who would dry his hair for him? Since his mother passed away, he had no memory of anyone doing that for him. Besides, his hair was much shorter than Yu-young’s, and he didn’t usually bother drying it unless he was styling it.

Yet, his gaze kept drifting back to the tips of Yu-young’s white fingers. Over and over. He wondered what it would feel like if those hands touched his hair, an unsettling curiosity rising within him.

“…Alright.”

Even while showering, he couldn’t stop himself from chuckling. The thought of him rushing to shower just because someone was going to dry his hair felt so childish. What on earth was he doing?

He had promised himself to be careful, but every time he stood in front of Han Yu-young, the lines he had drawn seemed to blur. Maybe it wasn’t Yu-young who needed to be reprimanded for his lack of caution, but himself. Just a few days ago, he had almost carelessly put on a bathrobe over his underwear and gone out. Now, he was in his indoor clothes, holding back a sigh as he stepped into the living room, his wet hair still dripping and a towel loosely draped around his neck.

Yu-young, who had been flipping through a photo book, looked up at him and set the book down. He then patted the space next to him, inviting Do-won to sit. As Do-won obediently sat down, his position naturally aligned behind Yu-young. With a playful smile, Yu-young asked,

“Welcome, customer. How would you like your hair done?”

“You said you’d dry my hair.”

“Ah, Team Leader, don’t be so boring.”

Yu-young pouted and turned on the dryer. The sound of the buzzing machine was followed by warm air blowing through his hair.

The sensation of Yu-young’s delicate fingers gently brushing his scalp sent a shiver down his spine. The heat of the dryer above his head was nothing compared to the warmth of Yu-young’s fingers. A tight sensation gathered in his lower abdomen, and Do-won clenched his teeth to suppress a sigh.

This couldn’t go on.

Before his body became even warmer, he needed to change the mood. He jokingly spoke up.

“What do you want from me? Want me to play along with some role play?”

“If possible, I’d like that.”

Yu-young’s voice, tinged with a smile, softened Do-won’s stiff expression. The tension in his body, which had been tightly wound, eased just a little.

“Alright then. How would you like me to do it?”

“Hmm. Make me look the most handsome in the world.”

Do-won replied in an exaggerated, arrogant tone. He was curious about how Yu-young would respond to his playful remark. He expected him to start complaining about it, maybe saying it would be difficult or something along those lines.

However, Yu-young’s response, soft and unexpected, caught him off guard.

“…What?”

“You heard me.”

“I didn’t hear it, so I’m asking you to repeat it.”

Yu-young, as if pretending he hadn’t said anything, continued drying his hair, so Do-won reached out and grabbed his slender wrist. The loud buzzing of the dryer also stopped, as he turned off the machine.

Slowly turning in his seat, Do-won looked up at Yu-young. With a flushed face, Yu-young lowered his gaze as he stood. Holding both of Yu-young’s wrists gently, Do-won coaxed him, asking once again,

“Say it again.”

“…Ahem. I apologize for the slip of the tongue. Please forget it.”

Again, Yu-young answered like a robot whenever things became awkward. Every time that happened, if Do-won intentionally stared at him, he would respond even more awkwardly.

This time, it was the same. When he met Yu-young’s lowered gaze, his own gaze stayed persistent, and soon, the tips of Yu-young’s ears and the back of his neck turned bright red. His skin was so pale that it stood out when he blushed. It was like ripe fruit, glowing with warmth.

Leaning in playfully beneath his tilted head, Do-won looked up at Yu-young’s face. The moment their eyes met, Yu-young’s tightly pressed lips relaxed into a smile. Holding both of his wrists, Do-won slowly rubbed his thumb along the soft skin on the inside of his wrist. Yu-young squirmed and giggled.

“It tickles! Please let go, Team Leader.”

“If you tell me what you said earlier.”

“Ah… It tickles, it tickles…”

Unable to hold back any longer, Yu-young let out a loud laugh, as though giving in.

“Already! Aha, already, you’re so handsome, how am I supposed to make you look more handsome…”

Yu-young, unable to finish his sentence due to his laughter, suddenly closed his mouth. His face quickly turned bright red.

“No, what I mean is, Team Leader, that…”

With a flushed face, he twisted his wrists to pull away. Do-won gently held him in place, preventing him from escaping, and stood in front of him, blocking his way. Naturally, there was no way out.

Yu-young, looking embarrassed, turned his head sideways, and Do-won gently held his face, lifting it to make him look up at him. Their eyes met.

“Assistant Han.”

“……”

“Do I look good?”

Yu-young, looking up at Do-won, turned a deep shade of red at the question, to the point that it seemed impossible for him to become any more flushed.

“Ah, no, do you not even look in the mirror, Team Leader? I’m just saying, objectively, that’s the case. And, if you ask anyone… they would probably answer the same…”

“I’m not curious about anyone’s opinions. I’m curious about what Assistant Han thinks.”

“Th… that…”

Yu-young muttered, his eyes cast downward.

“…you’re… handsome. Of all the people I know… including celebrities… you’re the most handsome.”

Yu-young’s shy, honest words acted as a trigger. With a loud crash, the desire that had been fiercely battling against reason finally gained the upper hand. Slowly, Do-won leaned forward, holding Yu-young’s face and kissing him.

“Team Leader…”

Hot breath lingered on their lips as they kissed. Yu-young’s eyelashes fluttered in surprise.

However, Yu-young didn’t ask why this time. He simply looked up at Do-won with wide eyes, quietly parting his lips. His attitude, happily yielding without resistance, only deepened the tightness in Do-won’s lower abdomen.

As their kiss deepened, Do-won leaned in further. Their heated breaths intertwined, and their lips met once more. Yu-young’s body staggered [unauthorized copy]back, creating some distance between them. Naturally, he ended up lying back against the sofa, and Do-won positioned himself between his legs, trapping him there.

Their lips parted occasionally to catch their breath. Each time, Do-won saw Yu-young’s flushed face as he gasped for air, looking up at him. Do-won doubted the effectiveness of the suppressant he had taken earlier. It was completely useless. The ferocious pheromones and simmering desire began to spiral out of control.

“Team, Team Leader…”

Yu-young’s faint voice only further clouded Do-won’s mind. With a heavy exhale, he kissed Yu-young’s red, plump lips again, pushing deeper into him. The flesh that slid inside Yu-young’s mouth rubbed against him smoothly with a wet sound.

Yu-young’s half-lidded eyes looked dazed. Anyone could see that he was flushed with desire from the touches. The moment Do-won saw that face, an intense, overwhelming urge to take him completely seized him.

He wanted to ravage Yu-young, to make him cry as he tore him apart. Yet, at the same time, he wanted to hold him gently until his tears stopped. It was a contradiction, a deep, unresolvable impulse.

At that moment, Yu-young called him, his voice fearful.

“Team, Team Leader…”

Yu-young’s voice was different from before, when he had eagerly welcomed him. The reason, on the verge of completely disappearing, had returned in an instant.

“……”

Do-won immediately realized why Yu-young was scared and flustered, seeing his small, flat stomach. The thick bulge pressing against Yu-young’s belly was evident.

‘Damn it…’

Only then did Do-won hastily withdraw his hand from Yu-young’s side, where it had been rubbing his ribs. He quickly pulled back, wiping his face roughly. Cursing himself as an animal, he pulled Yu-young’s clothes back down to cover him. He removed his body from Yu-young’s, separating himself completely.

“……”

“……”

Silence lingered. This was undoubtedly the longest moment Do-won had ever spent with Yu-young. Yu-young, with a face flushed bright red, fidgeted, then finally spoke.

“…I, I think I should go now.”

Yu-young jumped up, hurriedly grabbing the photo album that had been scattered on the sofa. With a sigh, Do-won helped him gather the books. He handed him the neatly stacked album and quietly said goodbye.

“…Sleep well.”

It was his voice, but it felt unfamiliar. Yu-young, still blushing, took the album, bowed his head, and quickly ran toward his room. The door slammed shut with a loud bang.

Crazy bastard, Do-won thought.

Laughing bitterly to himself, he slowly turned and opened the study door.

After all, wasn’t Yu-young someone who disliked Alphas? Perhaps that feeling went beyond just dislike; he might be afraid or even disgusted by them. Yet, why was it so hard for him to restrain himself every time he looked at Yu-young?

The sirens in his mind blared loudly, making everything inside him chaotic. After swallowing yet another sigh, Do-won pulled some work out with rough hands.

But no matter how hard he tried to focus, the words refused to enter his mind. Eventually, his gaze drifted to the night sky, dotted with stars, and he pressed his hands to his eyes again.
