RACA SS 4

When Eunsol’s consciousness gradually returned, the first thing he felt was a ticklish sensation. A light and careful touch brushed over him, as if someone were gently stroking him with soft down.

Did he feel sorry after working me so hard yesterday?

Eunsol barely managed to stop the corner of his lips from rising before he opened his eyes.

“Ah……”

A soft exclamation slipped out when he saw the small, adorable hand filling his view.

“Daddy?”

As if he had heard the sound, the child who had been gently smoothing Eunsol’s hair looked at him. The adorable voice was filled with worry. Eunsol smiled to reassure the child.

“Yeah, Beomwoo.”

Eunsol spoke affectionately to Beomwoo, then hesitated. His voice sounded rougher than he had expected.

This is driving me crazy.

He was overcome with embarrassment as soon as he remembered the reason. This voice was proof of how he had clung to Jaebeom, begged, and moaned.

He could feel his cheeks burning and his ears flushing, so he couldn’t bring himself to look at this innocent child.

“Daddy, does it hurt?”

When Eunsol suddenly lowered his head, Beomwoo asked again. Now guilt weighed on him more than embarrassment.

“No. It doesn’t hurt. I just slept in.”

But he thought the child would worry even more if he kept acting like this, so he forced a small smile.

Fortunately, the child seemed to believe him, and his expression brightened. Then his lips puffed out in a pout.

“Sleeping late is bad! Beomwoo was waitinnnng!”

He stretched the end of his sentence. The child was complaining that he had waited because he wanted to play together. Eunsol felt apologetic.

“You’re right. Daddy was wrong.”

He reached out, but his trembling arm caught his eye. He ignored it and gently patted the child’s small head.

Right now he wanted to close his eyes again and fall back asleep. His body, worn out so badly that he didn’t even remember when he had lost consciousness, demanded rest.

But he couldn’t ignore the disappointed child.

This is my fault.

He had stayed overseas for more than 1 week to film a movie. During that time, Jaebeom’s desire had grown day by day, and the twins must have missed omega dad.

He had made sure to do video calls whenever he could. Even so, it couldn’t compare to actually being together.

“Sniff… hic…”

But the gentle touch unexpectedly made Beomwoo start crying.

“B-Beomwoo? What’s wrong? Why are you crying?”

Startled by the sudden tears, Eunsol forgot his exhaustion and quickly sat up to hug him.

“Daddy…”

What had upset him so much? The child clung tightly to him and called out to Eunsol.

Eunsol stroked the small back and gently rubbed the back of his head while whispering that everything was okay. Only then did he notice that the bedroom door was open.

Jaebeom stood by the doorway, leaning against the frame with his arms crossed. His slightly furrowed face looked like he was trying to hold back a smile.

Is this really something to laugh about right now? Tell me why he’s acting like this.

In response to Eunsol’s silent question, Jaebeom simply shrugged. Anyone could see he had no intention of stepping in.

Who do you think caused this mess!

Eunsol’s eyebrows twitched. Even without words, the meaning must have reached his spouse.

However, the way Jaebeom pretended not to know anything annoyed him.

“Beomwoo wanted to eat breakfast with Eunsol-appa. And he wanted to go to kindergarten together…”

By then Beomwoo had calmed down a little and started babbling about what he wanted.

“I see. You wanted to eat with Daddy.”

Eunsol hurriedly checked the wall clock. It was almost time for the twins to leave for kindergarten. If he wanted to see them off like Beomwoo wished, he had to hurry.

“Mm.”

But it wasn’t easy to separate from the child who still clung to him while sniffing. Just as Eunsol turned his eyes toward Jaebeom again to ask for help,

“Pyo Beomwoo is a crybaby.”

A small head suddenly popped out from between Jaebeom’s legs. The one who delivered the cute teasing was none other than Eunwoo.

“Beomwoo isn’t a crybaby!”

“Crybaby.”

“No!”

“Crybaby.”

“I said I’m not!”

Just moments ago Beomwoo had been clinging to Eunsol and crying, yet now he insisted that it hadn’t happened.

“Alright, Eunwoo. You shouldn’t tease him.”

Eunwoo usually acted calm beyond his age and rarely showed much emotion, yet at moments like this he mischievously teased his twin.

The way he shrugged looked exactly like Jaebeom watching everything as a bystander. Eunsol always found it fascinating that the two children looked identical but behaved so differently.

“I didn’t tease him. Beomwoo is acting spoiled. Daddy is having a hard time.”

The way Eunwoo spoke so clearly made him seem 10 years old instead of 7. Blood really couldn’t lie.

“It’s okay. Do you want a hug too, Eunwoo?”

The moment Eunsol finished speaking, Eunwoo rushed over and threw himself into his arms. At times like this he still looked like a young child.

Holding both twins made the exhaustion that had filled Eunsol’s body fade a little. Now he needed to draw every bit of his strength and walk them to kindergarten.

“Alright, come here. Let’s go to kindergarten.”

As if the timing had been perfect, Jaebeom gently pulled the twins away. The two children separated from Eunsol reluctantly but obediently. Beomwoo grabbed the hem of Eunsol’s clothes and [Read on]silently urged him to follow quickly, but under Jaebeom’s guidance the children soon left the room.

“Rest more.”

“No. I’ll walk them there.”

Eunsol said it while fully standing up. His waist and thighs ached, and his whole body felt sluggish, but he could still move. More importantly, Beomwoo had asked him to see them off first.

Jaebeom watched him walk over stubbornly and sighed before pulling Eunsol closer. But Eunsol quickly stopped him when he realized Jaebeom was trying to support him.

“Then the kids will think I’m sick.”

“So what?”

This time Eunsol sighed in response to Jaebeom’s expression that seemed to ask what the problem was. Jaebeom didn’t understand the effort he was making to look fine.

“I don’t want them to feel uncomfortable.”

Beomwoo had been watching him even before he woke up. Eunsol guessed it was because they had only seen each other briefly yesterday and hadn’t met at all this morning.

If he showed that he was hurting now, the child might worry that he had disturbed Eunsol’s rest. That was why he tried to act perfectly fine.

“That’s exactly why you should stay close to me.”

“What are you talking about?”

Jaebeom said something that sounded ridiculous to anyone.

“You really should have become an actor.”

What a waste of talent, using it while lounging around and raising children. Eunsol clicked his tongue and looked up at him.

A light kiss landed on his face like a feather in reply. Jaebeom wrapped an arm around his shoulders and pulled him close. Eunsol flinched but stopped resisting and let him do as he wanted.

They didn’t have time to argue, and honestly it was more comfortable like this.

Eunsol went straight to the dressing room and changed into clothes for going out. Even if the kindergarten was only a 5 minute walk away, he couldn’t go in pajamas.

“Here, wear this too.”

While he pulled on a T shirt, a soft knit, and cotton pants, something touched his head. In the mirror he saw a cap that covered half his face. As if that wasn’t enough, Jaebeom also held out sunglasses and a mask.

“I’ll just wear the sunglasses.”

If he covered everything with a mask, it might look even more suspicious. Eunsol quickly took only the sunglasses.

“Anyway, nobody will recognize me.”

He grumbled as he put them on. His vision darkened immediately. The lenses were so dark that even acquaintances probably wouldn’t recognize him.

Jaebeom raised his eyebrow in disapproval, but before he could say anything Eunsol grabbed him and pulled him along.

“Let’s go, hyung. The kids are waiting.”

“Waa!”

“Waa!”

When the two of them came out together, the children beamed with delight. The twins had already put on their kindergarten uniforms and even taken out their shoes. They looked back at them with sparkling eyes.

Eunsol smiled.

“Shall we go?”

“Yes!”

“Yes!”

The moment they stepped outside, Beomwoo claimed Eunsol immediately. Eunwoo frowned slightly, then took the hand Jaebeom held out.

Seeing that, Eunsol’s lips twitched. He stretched out his other hand.

Eunwoo immediately grabbed it and winked at Beomwoo, showing off that he was also holding Eunsol’s hand.

The four of them started walking together. The children chatted endlessly about their own stories, and Eunsol listened carefully so he wouldn’t miss a single word while answering them sincerely.

Even though winter hadn’t fully left yet, the reason spring already seemed to linger in the air must have been this gentle warmth.

Warmth slowly filled Eunsol’s eyes as well.
